The Melbourne School of Graduate Research occupies the Graduate Centre (the "1888 Building") on Grattan Street, close to the corner of Swanston Street; the general enquiries/reception area is located just inside the Main (central) Entrance. This beautiful building had been registered on the Australian Heritage Commission's Register of the National Estate, and is listed as historically and architecturally important by the National Trust of Australia and Heritage Victoria.
