The e-Science 2005 and ISSNIP 2005 Program Committee are pleased to announce the availability of 40 student grants to encourage the participation of students in the conference. The grants will waiver the conference registration fee and each successful student application will be allowed to attend all the conference tutorials, technical sessions, morning / afternoon teas and lunches. The grant however does not cover the conference kits and conference dinner which can both be purchased separately. Students who have papers in the conference are NOT eligible for these grants and should pay the full student registration fees.

The grant applications will be reviewed by the e-Science Student Grant chair together with the Program Committee and successful applicants will be notified in mid-November 2005. Applicants will be judged initially on a first come first serve basis followed by their research interests. The purpose of these grants is to encourage research interest in the fields of e-Science, Grid Computing and Sensor Networks which are fast becoming mainstream research fields in Australia and worldwide.
