IEEE Distinguished Service Award

Associate Professor Rajkumar Buyya has been awarded a Distinguished
Service Award by the IEEE Computer Society in recognition of
services to the Society since 1998. During the last decade, Raj has
been Chair of the Task Force on Cluster Computing and Chair of the
Technical Committee on Scalable Computing, and founded four IEEE
conferences and new community programs with global impact. The
President of the IEEE Computer Society acknowledged Raj's service
to the Society at a level of dedication and achievement rarely
demonstrated.
